What is an Image statement?

An image statement includes pictures of your checks rather than your canceled checks. The conversion of paper debits and credits (checks and deposit slips) to a digital format allows us to store them on optical disks. We match the information posted to your account with the information retrieved from the optical disk storage. The checks are converted to an image of the item for printing to be done by a laser printer in time for your monthly statement!

Benefits of Image Statements

The first of many benefits your will find from your new image statement is that it will be printed using laser printing, which is easier to read. Modern printing technologies are used by many financial institutions, which are more difficult to read. The use of scenic checks, color of ink used in writing the check, and some computer checks are the only exceptions where the quality of images may be reduced.

The greatest benefit of image statements is that you will no longer have to go through numerous checks to find the one you are looking for while balancing your account each month. The format you will now receive your statement in will be both organized and convenient.

Each check written on your account will be sorted in order by check number. The amount for which the transaction posted and the check number will also be printed below each item in your statement.

The laser printed image statement will be printed on pre-punched paper with holes for easy insertion into a three ring binder which is available for you at any of our offices. This will help you keep your statements in order and in an organized place.
